Thank you for the all the new things in this year...

An year which made me more happier and calm than the past few years..

I hope and wish 2013 be an year which would teach me more acceptance and help me let go of things which are not mine anymore

New Zealand

Here i write miles n miles away from my home country.

This  is the corner of the world which i never planned to come until couple of months before.

A country which is ahead in time of rest of the world.

New Zealand is the dream destination for many and here i am with a chance to live in this place :)

I cannot be more happy or lucky.

My Travel from India had been smooth with lot of memories. Wellington is a small city and you could walk to most places.

Here i am visiting places which had been as wallpaper on my desktop. There is only beauty in this country in whichever direction i turn. I never knew i could feel so calm inside just by sitting beside the waterfront and staring at the water for hours and i love to do that.

We may never know where we are headed sometimes or why certain things happen. Its better to enjoy and live in the present than worrying over past. Hope i learn to do this here ......

2011

None could stop the time. yet another year comes to an end. Oh yes so soon!!!

what have i done for this whole 365 days ?

Have i become a better person ?

Did i learn something new ?

Did i make new friends ?

Any habit in me changed ?

or

Was i just eating, sleeping and working the SAME

       Well am not sure if i become better person, but did take some brave decisions, which i still don't know is right or wrong. Even if i am going to fail on those i just want to make sure to fail in MY Way.

      Last 3 years had given me lot of learning. Specially what i learnt this year was how valuable our life is. All could be over in a fraction of second.

An accident, how it could turn everything OFF. When i stayed with my father in the hospital with sleepless nights watching 2yr to 80yr old coming there at odd times for odd injuries, it struck in me that, it could have been even me on that stretcher rushing to the ICU.Life is full of surprises, both good and bad.You never know what is going to come out of your bag and when.

If you ever want to do something,say something, love someone, forgive someone,let it be always NOW. 

Forgive yourself for your mistakes

It is ok to do a few.But,

Never loose the lesson in it.

Forgive others for what they did to you

You may not get a chance again to forgive them

Forget your loss

Learn to live with some pain

Try a little harder on your failures

Nothing is never too late to start.

start today from zero

Don't give up on it till you reach.

There goes a saying "Behind every successful man there is a woman", lets rephrase it a bit and call it as "there is someone behind each successful person" be it a male or a female.

Someone who trusts you, loves you for what you are and not for what they want you to be.

A person who believes in you that you will have your day.

Who sits next to you with their arms around to let you know that it's OK to have some failures.

A person who is proud of your smallest deeds.

A person who calmly stands beside you in support when the whole world walks away taking out the hope from  you.

It might be any relation a parent/sibling/friend or a spouse.

How many of us have such people in life ?

If you have one, what are you waiting for?Go ahead and win the world.

If you don't have one yet, never worry you are going to find one soon in your journey, provided you walk on your journey without giving up.

Silence

Sometimes i don't want to talk, silence is mostly comfortable to me in your presence.

You might differ me in this ,but i don't know how to make you understand what happens inside me when you are next to me. I simply just can't talk when you are around me because am afraid if you would find out what's going on within me...

Moments

There had been moments when i wished you were beside me,
holding me up and not letting me fall.

assuring me that things will be OK sooner.
from where did i get the courage to let you walk with someone else?
still wondering how much more i am going to lose.

 I keep imagining how warm your hands would be around me
Will i ever get to feel it for real ?

Euthanasia

Euthanasia , a debatable topic. I very much agree that no one has the right to decide if someone can die even if they would want to. On  reading about Aruna's case recently i couldn't say if the judgement given by the SC was correct. She has suffered in the state of being a vegetable for 37 long years, what more is left for her to suffer.What wrong did she do in her life to get this life time punishment? The wardboy who assaulted and raped her when she was 27 years was freed in few years.But will aruna ever get back her life?

Also on the other note while hearing about her friends and colleagues in KEB who has been taking very good care of her for 37 years in hospital is simply amazing. I wonder how many of us would do the same for our own family members.I am not sure if a person like us who can talk, communicate,express,love would ever get such wonderful friends as aruna.

If aruna who is not able to move or do anything on her own for a long time is able to retain her friends till date, i still keep amazing what kind of a person she would have been before the incident? She would definitely have been a marvelous,lovely and lively person.

Why would such a thing happen to her ? 

Everytime things go wrong i would console myself telling 

"This also happened for some good for which i don't know the reason now".

How will i ever fit this thought in aruna's case.what good has ever been happened to her since then?

she cannot even express her gratitude to her friends helping.The biggest pain in life is not being able to express oneself to dear and nears.

Where was the so called "GOD" resting when things like this happen? All i could do from my end now is to hope that her soul rest in peace soon without anymore pain.

 

2010

Here i come again to this space of after a gap. End of another year.

I have made some biggest decisions of my life in this year and it definitely did not make many around me happy.

Well i din have a choice, as always i listen to myself than any others. It might be an another foolish decision, but Yes, it is mine.

Life might look short when you live in joy, It ain't that short when you struggle on it, days do drag, moments do seem hours.

Sometimes we do wish to put a break on the few moments that we don't have control on, How many times do we succeed on it?

Why don't we just give up on those?

May be take it a little easy.It is not always about winning a situation or having control over it, i have learnt the biggest lesson in my life that  it is completely OK to lose few though. May be u fall and get hurt badly, but u would surely rise again.

The most magical phase of life is the love, it brings in immense change in a person
VTV , a movie which talks about love between Karthik and Jessie. Love starts in an
instinct with no prior notice, Karthik falls for Jessie at first sight. Gautam's movie
always have beautiful heriones on whom we fall in love for no reason.
The confused mind set of Jessie potrays the day today girls...not able to decide on what
they want actually. She cudnt say a complete No or Yes...The worldwide problem of women
heart says YES and the mind says NO

Excellent screenplay and dialogues ..many of those keep ticking in the mind after the movie is over.

Karthik - There wud have been so many guys who were mad at u

Jessie  - I guess they din see me through your eyes.

Karthik - I thought it was over ..Jessie said me..Yes its over..dont think

Needless to say about songs by Thamarai...amazing lyrics ..Mannipaya and VTV being my personal favourite..shreya and Rahman on loop in my itunes.

On watching the movie VTV ..i was wondering..its always easy for a guy to go tell a

girl his love for her.

He chases her on road, bus ,train workplace,restaurant,coffee shop or wherever she goes.

Does love always happens first only for a guy ?

Are there not situations where a girl falls in love with a guy ?..even though he might come in

same bus/train she goes or works in same building or sits beside her daily in office

how many do go out and tell them their love. why hasnt it been easier for girls to let

know what she feels, Is the fear of losing more for girls ? Many times in the fear of losing

or being neglected they accept the failure. They better lock their hearts than let go it freely.

Is it not ok to knock the door once before assuming its locked ?

2009

Days pass on like a wind, some were breezy, and some were messy.

So soon another year came to an end. If I want to rewind my memory to see what I have done in the past year and what am I going to do in the coming year….

Well this was a year with lot of learning’s, not technically though.

Every day, every happening leaves us a lesson. Few of which we carry forward and many of which it’s better if we leave behind.

Forgive and Forget may be easy to say, very tough to follow.

Everything that happened should have reason, maybe I am not wise enough to understand it.

Like never before I have found myself very confused in many occasions

Life is tough if you are honest, but still I will put up a fight.

Lesser the expectations!! Lesser the disappointment.

For everything that did not happen today, I have a tomorrow to wake up and do it in a better way.

There is no one who can love you better than YOU. Be happy for what U R.

There is no one who can care for you better than YOU, Care for your health.

Love yourself, spend time for your interests, after all life is so big to regret and sit back for what has happened already.

If given a chance to redo anything in the past year, I would better opt to do Nothing.

Always Hope for tomorrow. Which will definitely be a Better Tomorrow!!

Back!!

Its been quite sometime that i turned towards my blog.
Having a too tough time with work at office. coming back to phase off late.

My Google Reader is piled up with tons of unread posts..i hope to clear them off this weekend.

Had been to bangalore for 15days and meeting the friends was very refreshing :)
Awaiting my next chance to go there and enjoy the climate again.

Not an Eventful Week

Well the last week wasn't quite eventful
Just usual work went on...

Weekend was boring too...had slight fever (confirmed its not H1N1 :) ) so din go out anywhere..was at home asusal watching movies .

A well planned robbery..goes for a toss because of a woman , a very old movie nice editing which keeps us glued to the screen...but i dint like the climax which was predictable

What happens if "Death" wants to personify as a human being ?
Death Falls in love :) (whoever it is Love has its own way to seduce ;) i guess )



It was a very long movie , 3hrs..not many would like this movie.
Anthony Hopkin was on his best in this movie.
Brad Pitt and Claire Forlani were good too
I just had these thoughts while watching this movie ( since movie was very long..u can do ur own thinking meantime )

The movie is about a father and kids their pranks on summer vacation, a neighbor who is mentally ill. The father (Gregory Peck - who won Oscar for this ) is a lawyer by profession defends a black man on a rape case against him.

Apart from this story line..there were many more little good things in the movie..which made it very moving.. A must watch movie

Will you burn me or bury me ?

My brother is doing a part time job in a company , he comes home and works until very late..most of the time i sit with him to give company, i will be watching a movie on my laptop while he works and we would be having some usual chit chat talks. Or sometimes we keep the FM ON in our mobiles and listen to some ever green classics of Illayaraja.

He is a person who catches cold often or i should say verrrry often.

The other day i slept arnd 1 PM and he was still working..i was awake after sometime by sound of someone shivering ...i woke to see my brother cuddled in his bedsheet n shivering..

I muttered to him " y cant u switch off the A/c if u r feeling cold"

He said he was not getting sleep and din want to wake me up by switching off A/c..

It was his next qn which made me laugh n wake n sit on bed

"Akka, will u bury me or burn me if i am dead"

I was silent for a few mins and said "I will probably toss a coin and see..if heads i will bury u else burn u and by the way u wont die of just cold..if thats the case u would have been a zombie by now'

"Podi" tats all he could tell among his continuous cough

then both of us started laughing and all sleep gone..

Gave him a tablet n turned offf A/c , switched on FM and continued our chit chat..it was when we heard suprabatham we realised its 5:30AM n we havent slept..then went to sleep..

Lucky guy he slept till 11AM next day i had to wake up by 7:30 for my work..

Truth..Is it so difficult to hold on ?

How many times in our life do we wish to have a magic within us which would
make us available in 2 or more places at a time.
Oh i too wish to be in my hometown enjoying the happiness of being with my family, at same time i want to be there in my office working...i love my work too..,
i even want to be reading sitting in a library 24*7, be in my TV room watching all movies
But looks like one person, one life is not so enough to do all.There are so many things in life which interests us and make us feel we need to be with it always..

Everything cannot happen always...we are many a time put in a situation to sacrifice some part of it..
